#7 What teachers really want to tell parents

Reaction
The article gives the teacher’s point of view towards parents. I agreed on what Ron Clark wrote because nowadays parents become our prosecutor instead of being our partner in providing education to their children. They are becoming over react once you give their child advices about their behaviors. They take it as insult on their part that’s why when things like this happen, they immediately run to the school and confront the teacher or even worse they go to the superior (principal) directly. We are teachers who are not only responsible on the intellectual aspect of their children but all concerned on their total development. Meaning the entire aspect such as moral, spiritual, moral, ethical, social and physical aspect are also part of their child’s education.  Therefore, when they are in school, we are their parents and a parent gives the best advices because no parent hopes for his/her child’s danger.  They must trust teachers and build good relationship professionally. One sentence in the article marked on my head, it is said that parents should digest and consider teacher’s advices like what how they take doctors and lawyers advices.
Children become irresponsible and make many excuses because some of their parents commend them. Worst, they are the ones who making excuses for their children which should not be condemned. How can a child learn if every time parents interrupts on the teacher’s way of giving instruction? If their child obtains high grades and suddenly got low, they fight the teacher. It is very sad to know that most of our parents today degrade and show disrespect towards teachers, parents that should be our partner.
