#2 DE
1.      A traditional or conventional face-to-face education requires the teacher and the student to discuss topics or subjects in one place. In short, they should have direct interaction. Contradictory in distance learning where the two interacts with the aid of internet to deliver the instructional materials. They are separated by time and space.
2.      After reading the module, I agree that distance learning/education saves money and time because it can make anyone do their lesson even they are in a great distances. They don’t have to go to school every day. Moreover, they can also do their lessons while doing something. It is also less pressure when dealing to their instructor.
  1. The four types of interaction in which results reciprocal exchange of communication are described in the table below.

Four Types of Interaction
Description
Learner-Content Interaction

©      Identified as the first type of interaction because what will be delivered and learned by the learner is base from the content of the course, subject or instruction.
©      This type will not be take place without the aid or help of the teacher or the institution.
Learner-Instructor
©      In this type of interaction, teachers help the students to have better understanding and explain what is confusing to them using any electronic means to facilitate learning.
Learner-learner
©      Learner to learner means one learner interacts with another learner or with several learners to complete or work on a task.
©      This type of interaction promotes collaborative learning because they share their point or ideas to work together.

Learner-Technology/System
©      Since distance education takes place among learners having great distances, this interaction revolves around the learner and the technology or system in order to satisfy and eventually completed the course.
©      Learner should have access on media and technology.
©      Learner must be computer literate.

4.    “Interaction is the key component of this use of the technology to support a more social learning, negotiating meaning through interaction with peers over distance, and forming a sense of community using the technology.” - Amirian

Since distance learning takes in great distances among different learners with different races all over the world, communication is its main factor which made possible through the aid of technology. For example, internet enables people to communicate wherever or whenever possible. Thus, when these people from different part of the globe interact with their viewpoints and ideas, a sense of social learning is form. They were able to share their customs and cultures with one another using the technology.
